Who is Ce Eshelman, LMFT?

I love my work as an attachment and trauma specialist. Being a part of healing families makes my heart sing.

It's hard to believe I have been doing this for 35 years. I opened The Attach Place Center for Strengthening Relationships, LLC, after years of struggling to find help with the attachment challenges and complex trauma of my two young children I brought home from the foster care system 24+ years ago. Happily, they are all grown up now living independent lives of their own. It has become my life's mission to support adoptive parents to heal the wounded hearts of their children while thriving at the same time. Over the years of studying with most of the great attachment and trauma thinkers of our time—Siegel, Hughes, van der Kolk, Ogden, Levine, Fisher, Porges, and many more—I have grown my understanding and deep practice of "being with" those who are healing from the every day painful events of life, as well as the extra-ordinary traumas that can derail relationships from the beginning of life.

I believe this in my bones: love matters. Love, and the right kind of support. I invite you to experience the support you deserve through Love+. You won't regret it.

Love+ Philosophy

Love+ is Ce Eshelman’s umbrella for a number of healing programs.

  • Love+ Parenting is a model of therapeutic parenting developed over years of training, research, investigation and therapeutic experience with parents of children from the difficult beginnings of attachment and abuse trauma.
  • The Love+ Self-Care App was developed by Ce to support parents and non-parents alike to seek self-care as a form of self-love to love the life you live.
  • Love+ Inner Thrive Wellness Groups are dynamic healing process groups to heal limiting beliefs and negative feedback loops from experiencing childhood trauma.

Love+ programs evolve with the needs of those in our worldwide community who struggle to love the lives they live.

Hundreds of parents have transformed their families with Ce's comprehensive Love+ Parenting Model.

After years (and many therapists) of getting it wrong, Ce Eshelman got our traumatized family on the right path to attachment, sanity, and big big love. Ce’s unique therapy is grounded in the latest brain research, her own struggles raising traumatized children, and work with hundreds of families like ours.

Elaine S., adoptive mom of two

Used to feel alone and not understood, never again. That’s so powerful.

Vicki T., adoptive mom of two

Best thing that happened to my family. I truly believe this program, Ce, and the amazing parent support in this group, Love Matters Parenting Society Membership, has been saving my life and that of my granddaughter who has suffered a lot of trauma.

Kristi B., grandmother and mother of one

Without [Ce], we'd still be having daily flip outs, destroyed toys, walls, doors and often bruises here and there. Thank you.
