Hungry Kids
Jan 03, 2021
Dear Parent,
Do you know how you will meet your needs and the needs of your YOU-hungry kids today? They need your engagement, connection, structure, sensory stimulation, yummy food, choices, and maybe a little correction. You need, ugh, rest?
Planning helps. Every two hours plan a switch up of activities and give the gift of your smile, laughter, and playfulness. Then, if the stars align, you might get a few minutes to yourself. Unfortunately, it might be in the bathroom with the door locked. Could be worse, like hiding behind the trash cans on the side of the house or under your bed with the dust bunnies, semi-chewed dog toys, flashlight, People Magazine and a half-eaten Snickers.
Enjoy your life today. It's the only one you get. And, yes, those little darlings will eventually grow up. I promise.
Love matters,
Ce
