Check Your Tone
Feb 27, 2025
Dear Parent,
A fierce voice tone pushes most of our traumatized children into deaf, dumb, and dissociated states, rather than into obedience.
To be heard, we parents need to keep soft our voice tones, words, and facial expressions, so our children can remain present and inside their windows of emotional tolerance. This will help with better choice making by our children.
Whispering can be more effective than shouting. Check it out.
